📜 House Rules

We kindly ask that all guests review and follow these house rules to ensure a comfortable, safe, and enjoyable stay for everyone.

🚭 General Rules

No smoking or vaping anywhere on the property, inside or outside. Violations will result in an additional cleaning fee.
No illegal substances allowed on the property.
No parties, events, or large gatherings.
Only registered guests are allowed on the property unless prior approval is given.
Quiet hours are 10:00 PM – 8:00 AM.
Please respect neighbors and keep noise to a reasonable level at all times.

🏊 Pool & Outdoor Safety

NO DIVING — the pool is 6.5 feet deep at its deepest point.
No glass in or around the pool area. Please use only plastic cups or containers outdoors.
No running on the pool deck — surfaces can be slippery when wet.
Children must be actively supervised at all times when near the pool.
Do not tamper with the pool equipment or settings.
Rinse off sand or beach pebbles before entering the pool to protect the system.
Please close the lanai doors to keep the home cool and prevent insects from entering.

🧼 Cleanliness Expectations

Please treat the home with care and leave it in generally tidy condition.
Wipe up spills promptly to prevent staining.
Do not place hot items directly on counters or furniture.
Return furniture and décor to original positions before checkout.

♨️ A/C, Heating, & Energy Use

Keep thermostat between 74–77°F for proper system function.
Do not run the A/C while windows or doors are open.
Please turn off lights, fans, and electronics when not in use.

🚗 Parking & Vehicles

Parking is allowed only in the driveway.
No parking on the lawn.
RVs, boats, trailers, and commercial vehicles require prior approval.

🗑️ Trash & Recycling

Dispose of household trash in outdoor bins located on the side of the house.
Do not leave food outside — it attracts wildlife.
Trash pickup is generally Tuesday morning (may vary).
Please break down boxes to keep bins from overflowing.

🚿 Plumbing / Septic Use

Flush toilet paper only — no wipes, tissues, paper towels, or hygiene products.
Do not pour grease or oils down the sink.

🔧 Maintenance & Damage

Report any damage or maintenance issues as soon as possible during your stay.
Guests are responsible for damage caused by negligence or violation of house rules.
Missing items or excessive mess may incur additional charges.

🚫 Prohibited Items & Actions

No fireworks, firearms, or weapons on the property.
No grilling on non-designated areas (use only the outdoor grill).
No climbing or sitting on pool railings or screens.
No rearranging of heavy furniture.
No washing of sandy items in the indoor washing machine — shake them out first.

🔑 Check-Out Procedures

Load and start the dishwasher.
Place used towels on the bathroom floor or in the laundry area.
Empty refrigerator of all perishable items.
Take trash out to outdoor bins.
Close and lock all doors and windows.
Ensure pool door and lanai door are latched.
